Naperville’s Fire Station:
Naperville’s Fire Station - What was a great station built to save lives, this station has now turned into an apple store. A century ago the towns council ordered a fire equipment to be installed as a home burned down and there was nothing to prevent it from happening. Old city hall
Just like the name says it but actually has made history as the first national bank in its time. Built in 1896 this city hall still stands today. It has since moved locations over a century ago but still can visit the old city hall and see it from the outside.
The Kroehler Manufacturing:
Still exists but hold a ton of modern business till this day. What’s so unique about Naperville is even though it has developed into a technological city, it still has its antique charm with most of the buildings that have been built over a century ago. et or sunrise.
Burlington Square and train station
Which has been in the same place since the California gold rush. It was actual the first railroad to reach Chicago and today is still standing. The station was fully built in 1864 and still is used today to deliver goods all throughout the state of Illinois and used as a port for other states as well.
Located in Naperville has been there since 1846 when both of the counties came together to build a cathedral for the city. it was built in 1864 and has been reconstructed a few times. It’s another historic building that still stands in Naperville today.
This may not be as big as New York cities, but central park has become a popular spot and a beautiful scenery for Naperville. This park was built in 1865 giving most of the trees that are still there today over a century old. A lot of history in that park and now holds a gazebo for people to come and take beautiful pictures in. it is also used for concerts during almost every season.
